In the beginning of the formative year, the Rector had announced that the seminary community would be embarking on a missionary experience in Guatemala, at the Mission run by Fr Anton Grech, a priest who hails from Gozo. Fundraising activities started to be held just after the Christmas holidays.
The visit to Guatemala lasted from June 21st to July 12th. During our stay, we did many odd jobs, including plastering and work in the fields and in the church. We joined Fr Anton on visits to various small villages. We spent three very busy weeks in Guatemala. During our stay we gave a lot but I am sure that we received much more in return.
